This book contains hints of serious matters like self-harm, suicide and sexual assault that might be triggering for some people.

It is a book filled with pain, darkness and scars and might even bring out all your worst memories at once.

I highly recommend you to read this book if you have ever been though something that has made you feel like death is a better place for you

But I also understand that sometimes the best way to heal is to take it slow so if you are in a calm place right now, even if for a while, I would not recommend reading this because it really can rush all the screams and the memories right back into you.

We die every day but the curse is the need to live so we do things to survive, to make us feel death, even if for a minute and I can assure you, this book will make you feel all of it and while that is a good thing, it can also be seriously damaging.

Excerpt:

"What does it do

to a little girl

when her own home

becomes unsafe,

what hope does she have,

what choice does she have

except to harm herself,

smoking cigarettes,

drinking every other night,

scarring her wrist,

what else could her heart

possibly want,

except to ease the pain inside,

to heal the wounds inside,

by bleeding on the outside,

what choice does the young girl have,

in her mind,

except her own destruction,

home is where you are loved

so if home couldn't treat her right,

what other choice does the girl have,

except to believe that she could never be loved?"
